Spooky season is officially on the horizon.

If you came here looking for sweet, candy inspired cocktails, you might be in the wrong place. Don’t get me wrong, I love a Reese’s Cup as much as anyone, but not in my cocktails. I’m more interested in spirit-forward, seasonal flavors with a little edge and a lot of intention.

Whether you’re hosting a party, cozying up with a scary movie, or sneaking sips in between trick-or-treat visits…..these cocktails conjure just the right amount of fall flavor and haunted charm to keep the spirits lively…no costume required.

  • smoky mezcal fall halloween inspired cocktail recipe

    Spicy Dead Lady

The most 'fall' of all the fall scents has to be campfires and smoking leaves on the wind. Bolstered by smoky mezcal and the bittersweet notes of aperol, you can capture the essence of autumn indoors with this spicy cocktail.

    .75 oz aperol
    .75 oz velvet falernum
    .5 oz fresh lime juice
    2 drops molé bitters
